Utilizing repurposing techniques and sustainable production, The Flatbush Fanny is an amalgamation of the nostalgic multiple use of this iconic plaid storage bag, used by street vendors in the Flatbush neighborhood as well as throughout other communities. The plaid bags are deconstructed then restored to create a refined, utilitarian fanny pack, finished with silk straps, and an embroidered L’E Parrot mascot.
